It is always a fascinating fact to consider that 70% of our planet and our human bodies is water. Humanity evolved through the sea and since antiquity all the great civilizations have used the element of water in mythology and religion.
People, animals and plants need water to survive, to live, to grow and to multiply.
The 22th of March is established as the World Day of Water, in order to remind us of its importance and to raise awareness. Climate change, pollution and unauthorized practices lead to the environment’s destruction, which will soon affect us all. 2.2 billion people do not have access to clean water and have to walk kilometres daily.
Water is life and we shall not take it for granted.
