The Acropolis is open during the following hours:
Winter (November - March): 8 am – 5 pm
Last entrance 4.30 pm
Summer (April - October): 8 am - 8 pm
Last entrance to the Site at 7:30 pm
From September 1, the operating hours of the Archaeological Site will be, due to a gradual reduction in the length of the day, as then:
1st to 15th September 08:00 – 19:30,
Last entry 19:00
16th to 30th September 08:00 – 19:00,
Last entry 18:30
1st to 15th October 08:00 – 18:30
Last entry 18:00 and
16th to 30th October 08:00 – 18:00
Last entry 17:30

Also on Good Friday (Orthodox Easter) the Acropolis opens at 12 pm. For 2024 Good Friday is on the 3rd of May.
No food, alcohol or refreshments are allowed inside the sites or museums. Only water.
The less crowded is our Early First Access 07:45 Acropolis group tour, which is from the Main entrance, since we reassure our hosting team and guides secure you with the first access in the Acropolis.
Also, mid-day and afternoon the less crowded Acropolis entrance is from the Southern entrance, from which we enter our groups from.
Everyday this may vary depending on different unforeseen circumstances.
